Gin Cup
A Gin Cup starts with gin, sugar syrup, lemon juice, mint and ice.
3 ounce gin
1 teaspoon sugar syrup
3/4 – 1 ounce lemon juice
3 mint sprigs
ice
1 teaspoon sugar syrup
3/4 – 1 ounce lemon juice
3 mint sprigs
ice
Place the mint sprigs and sugar syrup in the bottom of an old-fashioned glass. Stir about to bruise the mint slightly. Fill the glass with chopped / shaved ice. Add the lemon juice and gin and stir until a frost begins to form. Decorate with extra mint sprigs, and serve.
